Keystone Custom Homes’ House Swap Makes Getting into a New Home Easier

Keystone Custom Homes helps buyers get into a new home with their House Swap program. Under the program, more commonly known as “Certain Sale,” the builder helps the buyer sell their existing home while their new, Keystone home is under construction, ensuring that the buyer will not have to make two mortgage payments or need temporary housing between the sale of their old home and the move-in of their new home.

Once buyers are approved for enrollment in the program, they begin the construction process on their new home while simultaneously working with an approved real estate professional to list their existing home for sale. Keystone Custom Homes will either refer the listing to a REALTOR or will assist the buyer’s agent (if one has already been selected) with the existing home’s marketing.

Keystone's experienced team or real estate professionals will be dedicated to ensuring the highest market value for the home. After the sale of the existing home, Keystone will provide a settlement date on which the new home will be ready for move-in, making certain that the buyer will not have to make two mortgage payments or secure temporary housing between the two transactions.

Once the customer's old house has been sold, Keystone will provide a settlement date so that the buyer can move into their new home right on schedule.

Keystone Custom Homes has 44 communities throughout Pennsylvania's Adams, Berks, Chester, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon and York counties as well as Maryland's Cecil and Harford counties. Both single-family and townhome communities are available, with open floor plans, first floor owner's suites, gourmet kitchens with breakfast areas, spacious family rooms with fireplaces, luxurious baths and much more. With so many options, it’s easy to find the perfect new home for any family with Keystone.
