Family Fun: If you have kids to entertain, then Stone Mountain Park is the place for you on Memorial Day weekend. The park will offer fun-filled activities including Geyser Towers, adventure courses, mini-golf, the Laser Show Spectacular and special fireworks Saturday, Sunday and Memorial Day.

Educational Experience: If history and learning are your passions, then head over to Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park on Monday, May 28 for a bevy of free events including an artillery demonstration, display of veteran’s uniforms and the Kennesaw Mountain High School NJROTC drill team.

Lounge at the Lake: And, no Memorial Day celebration would be complete without a trip to the lake. A tried and true destination, the lake is a go-to for many families who enjoy boating, swimming, grilling out and camping. You can choose Lake Allatoona and Lake Acworth in Cobb County or Lake Lanier in Buford. Starting on Friday, May 25, Lake Lanier will offer Memorial Day events and will feature fireworks on Sunday night.
