Liberty Trails Recycling Drive Drawing to a Close

What have you been doing with your aluminum cans all summer long? Well, if you’re a resident of Gerstad Builder’s Liberty Trails, a community of McHenry County real estate, you’ve been collecting cans to raise money for a local food pantry. However, residents of Liberty Trails have only a few more days to collect cans for the neighborhood’s recycling drive that ends Aug. 26.

“We’d like to remind all of our residents at Liberty Trails to continue collecting cans,” said Roger Gerstad, president of Gerstad Builders. “This is the last leg of the drive and we want to make sure that we have done all that we can to support the McHenry County community.”

After finishing every tasty ice cold beverage this summer, residents chose to skip the trash can for the recycling bin and the cans were collected and stored at the community. After Aug. 26, Liberty Trails will sell the cans for cash and the proceeds generated will be donated to a local food pantry.

Feel inspired by Gerstad Builder’s fundraiser? You can plan a recycling event for your community. Or, be a part of Liberty Trails by calling the builder for a tour.

Nestled in a quiet community with rolling landscapes, Liberty Trails is composed of ranch and two-story homes that are perfect for any buyer. Floor plans are spacious and boast two to four bedrooms, as many as three bathrooms and up to 3,200 square feet.

Buyers will love these homes with standard features that include GE appliances, Kohler fixtures and Colonist doors and trim. You get all this and more with prices starting at just $190,990.

The McHenry County builder also constructs new homes in Poplar Grove and Richmond as well as Williams Bay new homes in Wisconsin.
