Personalize Your Active Adult Home Site during The Orchards of Stoney Point’s Deposit Program

What better way to personalize an active adult home than by buying during the pre-grand opening deposit program at The Orchards of Stoney Point in Forsyth? The Orchards Group’s 16th active adult community will be laying down its streets as early as the end of the month, and home buyers who reserve their space during this hugely popular home site reservation program will have the pick of the litter of floor plans and home sites before the builder permanently sets the home site mix.

Choosing between the Arbors home collection – the townhomes – or the Southern Heritage collection – the ranch condos – will not be the only choice pre-grand opening buyers get to make. They will also be able to choose between the five Arbor floor plans or the four Southern Heritage plans. Highlights of the Arbors’ floor plans include two to three bedrooms (including a ground floor master suite), cozy dens (in addition to spacious living rooms), two car garages and vaulted ceilings. The Southern Heritage collection features plans with two bedrooms, above-garage activities suites with third full baths, wide, inviting front porches and plenty of windows to let in the light. Homes in both collections come with the option of adding a sunroom.

The home site deposit program also gives residents first choice of where they want their home in the community, meaning those who want to put their home near the community’s outdoor pool and award winning clubhouse can do so easily. That way they are close to the fitness center, gourmet kitchen, grand room with fireplace and community card and games tables.

To learn more about the specific floor plans and home collections offered at The Orchards of Stoney Point, contact the sales office at 678-513-8879 or visit the sales team, who will remain at nearby sold out The Orchards of Brannon Oak Farm model homes until the new model homes are complete at The Orchards of Stoney Point. First-Time Buyers: Avoid These Common Mistakes

New home by Lancaster home builder Keystone Custom HomesAs the flowers start to bloom and the weather warms up, families start looking to buy new homes. Even for veteran buyers, the process can be stressful. But for first-time buyers, moving into new homes can feel like a long road with no end in sight.

Lancaster home builder Keystone Custom Homes has worked for more than 20 years with buyers looking to purchase their new homes. Keystone agents have seen all of the mistakes that new buyers routinely make, and they do their best to make sure they are avoided.

Here are just a few common mistakes by first-time buyers:
  • Forgetting a budget. New buyers often just look at home prices without figuring out what is the highest payment they can afford. Making a budget ahead of home shopping will alleviate some of the monetary issues that come up during the process.
  • Skipping the inspection. The home looks fine, right? But if a professional does not inspect the home, buyers could end up with a home that needs significant repairs.
  • Waiting to get prequalified. It’s never too early to get prequalified. The process can take time, especially if there are errors or changes, and that can cost valuable house hunting time.

Keystone Custom Homes wants to help new buyers this spring by offering a special seminar. The free seminar will be held on Saturday, March 29 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Heritage Hotel at 500 Centerville Road in Lancaster.

Reservations are required. Call Jennifer Baxter at 717-464-9060 ext. 129 to reserve space. All attendees receive the book Automatic Millionaire by David Bach and a $50 gas card.

Visit www.keystonecustomhome.com to learn more about the seminar and search the single-family homes and townhomes Keystone Custom Homes builds in 44 counties across Pennsylvania and Maryland.
