What better way to forget the dreary days of winter than to spruce up your home with some fun colors? Pinterest is a wonderful site to get some (p)inspiration this spring. While looking through all the colorful images, why not pin for the chance to win a $250 Pottery Barn gift card?

Enter Keystone Custom Homes’ Pinterest contest, “Decorate Keystone’s Model Home for Spring,” by Wednesday, May 7, 2014 for your chance to win.

To enter, follow Keystone Custom Homes on Pinterest (www.pinterest.com/kchhomes/). Then, make a new board named “Decorate Keystone’s Model Home for Spring,” and pin at least 10 images of family rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, exteriors, bathrooms and more. Each image must be pinned with the hashtag #DecorateKCHHomeForSpring in the description.

Guess Where Traton Homes will Spring up Next

Recently Traton Homes has announced new communities throughout metro-Atlanta and on Friday, May 31, 2013, they will announce the location of their latest community. Guess the location on their Facebook page before then and you could win a $200 Home Depot card*.

Through a fun and interactive campaign, Facebook users have the opportunity guess where Traton Homes will spring up next. To participate individuals go to Traton Homes' Facebook page and click  on the "Where will we spring up next?" tab. After that, participants can click the flower that represents the location they would like to guess and all correct submissions will be entered into a drawing for a $200 Home Depot card.

Facebook -- More Than Just Posting

There are lots of ways that homebuilders can use Facebook to market their homes. Most builders do a good job of covering the basics by posting news a couple of times a week and interacting with the potential customers that "Like" them.

Some builders run contests, promotions and incentives on Facebook and use these campaigns to collect consumer names and emails. These offer a great way to reach new consumers and engage with them.
